Marketing for Architects & Building Designers - New CPD Workshop/Session

 In today’s highly competitive property and building environment, architects and professional building designers, now more than ever, need to create and implement a structured and consistent way to communicate the value they bring as professionals – in order to attract prospective clients and a consistent flow of new projects.

 A new CPD workshop – Marketing for Architects & Building Designers has been created to introduce small to mid-size practices to the benefits of having a clear (written) marketing strategy and plan, and show them how and why actively marketing a practice is good for business.

 Learning outcomes include:

  1. Identifying and understanding the benefits of a structured marketing strategy and communications plan for small to mid-size practices

  2. Identifying and understanding the key elements of a good marketing strategy and business development plan for a service business

  3. Identifying and exploring 3 specific practical steps to create a workable marketing, business development and communications plan in 2019-20.

 3 formal CPD points are available. Included is a workbook with workshop notes, group tasks, questionnaires and guidelines for setting up a practical marketing plan and way to promote a small to mid-size practice.

 There will be an overview and practical tips on social media and optimising digital marketing, as well as an overview of offline or more traditional (often overlooked) ways to promote a practice.

 The first workshop will take place at Work Inc. in North Sydney on Thursday 15 August from 6pm to 9pm. Cost $175pp.
